The Story Teller by Jodi Picult (actually all of her books) my other faves of hers is the Plain Truth and My Sisters Keeper.

If you like short stories, I would highly recommend The Interpreter of Maladies. Absolutely beautiful! And if you are interested in spirituality, Paths to God is a fascinating guide/memoir. There's another I'm reading, but most people are not biology nerds...

Just read one by a local author from here in Seattle called 'after the luau' by Kristin VanBodegraven. It's sad but funny, and I love supporting new authors. :) I got it on Amazon.
