How important is sexual satisfaction in a relationship?

Could you be in a marriage if you were not sexually satisfied?

I could not, no, and I'm no sexual nympho. I recognize the importance of intimacy and the sexual relationship. My husbands love language is also touch, so that makes it even more important for my marriage. Sex is a barometer for our marriage. We couldn't go without long term

It depends. Do I have money? Like enough so I can buy a good shower head or vibrator?

If my husband was in some horrible accident that stopped him from being able to have sex I wouldn't leave him but other than that I need the intimacy associated with sex. Sex isn't the most important thing to me in a relationship but I don't think I would be with someone who didn't sexually satisfy me.

Sex is not a natural skill. The drive is natural, but knowing what to do is learned. Sexual compatibility can happen between any two people who are willing to learn each other and be unselfish partners. Incompatibility is what people call it but selfishness and impatience are usually the culprits.

It depends on the partnership, but inherently pretty dang important!  If you are a monogamous invidividual, and promise to connect with, bond, and honor exclusivity with one person out of so many billion on the planet for the rest of you life, and that in fact that sexual union is one of the defining factors for the relationship, than why would you want to settle for less than satisfying?

Very important. Amongst other reasons I left my ex due to his porn induced erectile dysfunction. It just made me miserable not being able to have sex.
