I had my grandmother come over today and watch my baby so I could sleep. The only thing is he has to be supplemented with formula when he's not with me. Well I came back downstairs and my grandmother had asked how much she was supposed to give him (powdered formula) and I honestly didn't know unless what was on the instructions on the can, and she said she was supposed too to give him two scoops and only gave him one so he had some extra water. So now I'm terrified because I've never given him two scoops but I've never given him over the amount it says to put for 2 ounces. I've only given him two ounces because the last I fed him formula he was only a few days old. My husband has been giving him the formula since then. I didn't know. Is it bad for him to have too much water mixed with formula? I think she just did one scoop with 4oz water. The instructions say one scoop every 2oz..
