My son has a red bottom 😔 am I a bad mom?

Am I a bad mom? It's just red, no rash. It's where his diaper lands on his skin. Am I doing something wrong? I feel so sorry for him. It has to bother him if his skin is red.... any advice or opinions on what it could be?

Maybe change his diaper more often? Let it air a little before putting a new one on? Do u use nappy creams always? Maybe u need to change brand of nappy? Could be anything. You're not a bad mom ☺️

Do you need to size up? Where is it red at? Around his legs? It must be irritating his skin if it's red. Maybe you need to try a diff kind of diaper.

You're not a bad mom. The diaper could be too small?? Anytime I see redness on my son I use aquaphor to prevent any rashes..
