Being induced tomorrow...tips?

Question

Being induced tomorrow at 39+1 for high blood pressure. Any tips for a smooth induction? I am currently 3cm and 50% effaced with a soft cervix and baby girl is very low, so I hope it goes smoothly!

I was due jan 4 induced dec 15 i had the pitocin started around 10:30-10:45am i was 3cm and 80 thinned i used a stress ball and squeezed from the time the contractions started until they ended i also took deep breaths in through nose out through mouth my mil rubbed my feet with lotion and i also listened to music my dr was supposed to break my water around noon but got swamped at the office she broke it around 6:30pm i was 7cm and 90 thinned my contractions got too strong and she had to place a monitor on her head also thinning me and dialting me more i oushed for about 10-15 mins and she was out at 7:08pm all with no pain meds yes it hurt like a son of a bitch to help myself get through it i screamed like my life depended on it the nurses and my dr kept telling me no need to apologize weve all been there i even made them laugh i blurted out tarzan swinging from the trees idk why it just came out

My doctor told me since I know it's coming it's time to spend with your spouse do one last date and get pampered to put yourself at ease. I get induced Thursday. So my hubby and I are going on a date Wednesday like a really date where we dress nice. I am having my carpets and air ducts cleaned on Wednesday and all of my dog's bathed. A friend and I are going to get pedicures and before I go to the hospital a friend is going to braid my hair so I don't need to fuss with it during labor. I really wanted a natural birth so this has been really hard for me. My hubby and I are bring games to play plan on waiting it out.
