When to stop sleeping on back ?

When is the time for a pregnant women to start sleeping on her side ?

I'm 18 weeks and my other pregnant app said it's now a good time to stop sleeping on my back because the uterus is now heavy enough to press on nerves in your spine

I slept on my back through my whole pregnancy....I switched around a ton, but my back was definitely one of the positions I was in frequently...my doc wasn't concerned when I brought it up...

I was 37 weeks when I stopped sleeping on my back. That's also when I pretty much stopped sleeping altogether 😂

As long as you don't feel uncomfortable or short of breath, you're fine.

I get into bed and lay on my back on my phone until I get uncomfortable and then I'll switch to my left or right side. I switch over in my sleep a lot. They tell you not to sleep on your back cause it pushes on your nerves but if you're comfortable like that I'm sure you're fine

I usually say your body will tell you. I'm 20 weeks 4 days and I haven't slept on my back or laid on my back for like 2 weeks and that's only because I started feeling like I couldn't breathe from doind so.

I can still sleep on my back sometimes and im 28 weeks. It's all about when you're uncomfortable. Some people feel uncomfortable early, some make it farther along.

When it's uncomfortable. The concern is mainly about sleeping flat on your back. If you're propped up, should be fine.
