does heart burn feel like an elephant on your chest?

I've never had heart burn but now I'm 26 weeks and think that's what I'm experiencing. It feels like an elephant on my chest and that I can't take a deep breath in, or like my breast bone needs to be cracked/stretched. Is this heartburn?

No. It could be just the position of the baby up by your diaphragm. If it doesn't get better I would call your doctor as a precaution since it could  also be a pulmonary embolism.

Heartburn is really like a burn that you feel from the back of got throat to the back of your breast bone. It does hurt but it doesn't feel like an elephant is stepping on your chest

No heartburn feels like A burning sensation that needs to be cooled. It has no effect on breathing.

Or lack of water. Women forget that when you're pregnant you need double the amount. And no other drink can substitute it. Drunk tons of water ( like 2-3 glasses right away), and if should subside. You should be drinking at least 10 glasses a day!!! Also eat tums if you need to
