It's getting annoying. (too charming? idk)

Question

Every time I meet someone and begin talking even, they start to like me and admit it themselves. 😫 I'm not bragging and I know I'm not the only one with this problem. I'm always very nice to people....like extremely nice. I'm a helper, I'm like a diary to some people and other just like me for who I am. Again I'm not bragging but im wondering if anyone else has this problem? AGAIN IM NOT BRAGGING I CANNOT EMPHASIS THAT ENOUGH!

Be careful. Helpful/'nice' people are often taken advantage of. I'm not saying there aren't some genuine people in your group, just suggesting keeping your boundaries in place and speaking up when you need to will help.

I'm like that too! It happens less now that I'm home with my kids most of the time but once when i was working in a cell phone store (where you're supposed to be friendly and helpful) i helped this guy and when we were done he asked me out. Ironically the ONLY jewelery i was wearing was my wedding ring. I kinda held up my hand and just said "sorry, I'm married" like what do you even say someone? I was doing my job! Like i said, it used to happen a lot more when i was out a lot...

My husband is the exact same way. There's something about him that people just like to open up to him and be his friend. He's very approachable I guess you could say. Sometimes people misread his kindness too but it doesn't really bother him. He has me and everyone knows how much he loves me and I completely trust him in those situations. You are who you are and if you can be there for people that's great. You're just a likeable person and maybe one day someone you like back will like you for that so don't get annoyed with it
