Influenza anybody?!

Why the heck did I get a flu shot if I was going to end up getting the flu? Never in my life...I'm seriously dying. WTF?!

The flu shot makes it so if you do get the flu it isn't so bad and it can help fight against specific flu types that were common the previous year. You must have gotten a different strain of flu, but the flu shot should be helping keep the symptoms from getting bad.

I work in an er and we had to get flu shots.. I've been exposed to the flu at least 5 times now and haven't gotten sick.. the shot is working really well this year you should get it

I've had the flu several times, always when I skip the shot that year. There was one time when my temp was 104.5 that I debated peeing myself because it hurt too bad to get up to the bathroom. I crawled there.

The flu shot is for influenza. That is not the same as the flu we all know to make us throw up and feel like crap. You can become sick from any shot. But it's at your discretion to take them or not. The more people vaccinated, the less likely it will spread and make people severely sick.

The flu shot is a live virus they give you to counteract with the flu virus that can be in your system. Which is why some ppl still experience symptoms. I used to get sick every time I got the flu shot. I stopped getting the flu shot and haven't gotten the flu since.

This is exactly why I don't get the flu shot. You get the shot and it never fails: you always get sick. On top of that, there's tons of different influenza viruses and the flu shot only covers two of them. I had the flu in September and it wasn't even the ones the flu shot protects you from.

I dont ever get the flu shot and would never get it while I am pregnant. I just got over a horrible cold cough and ear infection that lasted two weeks. I can handle it but not putting God knows what in my body.
