how many ounces of breast milk?

How many ounces in a feeding does your bf baby eat? We only give her one bottle of breastmilk a day other wise it's all boob. She's been downing 5 ounces! But o don't think she typically eats that!

Pace feed.  Make baby work for the milk.  If they drink too fast they drink more because they don't know they are full yet.

I exclusive pump and he gets only breast milk. 25 oz a day, 3-4 oz per feeding.

I'm trying to figure out the same thing for when I go back to work. When I pump I can get almost 7 ounces but I know she doesn't eat that. From reading all these answers I think I'll start at 4 ounces and leave a little extra in case she's extra hungry.

My 2 month old goes to daycare 5 days a week while I work. He eats a 4oz bottle every 2 or so hours. We send him with 4 4oz bottles for the day, and we have a frozen 4oz for back up if they need it.
