Dockatot?!

Question

So- is the dockatot really worth the 165?! I hear that babies sleep better (not sure why) only reason I think it looks great is for co-sleeping.. but not sure if 165 is really worth that. Any thoughts/suggestions would help!

I want to get the dockatot but i thought it was kinda expensive. I heard good things about the swaddle me so i got it. Have yet to use it since im not due till may but if your on a budget i would check this out

I have the Dockatot Grand so my daughter can grow into it. (8-36 months) & I love it ! Worth every penny. They make it breathable just in case baby rolls over or has face towards the side.

I found a Pinterest tutorial where a mom made her own with a pool noodle and some cute fabric! More affordable and then you're not out a bunch of money if your child doesn't love it!

I didnt have it- bc i cant sleep with the baby in my bed- but my sis did and her son out grew it kinda fast in my opinion- i like the arms reach co sleepers or a bassinet next to the bed for around the same price. Maybe if i had a smaller baby or a king size bed😆

Not in my opinion. We have a co sleeper attached to our bed and our daughter loves it. It was not that expensive either. Got it on amazon. 
That thing looks like u would need to put it on the bed -as in bed sharing, and to me, that's not safe...Co sleeper attached to our bed is not only close, but safe too..

I honestly think it depends on your baby! My little guy came out of the womb refusing to sleep anywhere but on my chest for the first couple weeks. My sweet parents ordered us a dockatot as an early Christmas present and for us it has made a HUGE difference. But if your baby sleeps fine on a flat surface then obviously not really worth the money. It works for our baby bc it makes him feel like he's snuggled and I feel he is safe to sleep in it since it's breathable (I've put my face into the sides and tested it myself👍🏼). So maybe wait and see how baby does without it, but I would personally recommend it for sure! It's also great how portable it is, we use it all around the house and helps him sleep well when traveling. 🙌🏼

My son went from screaming every time he was put in his cot to sleep awake and staying asleep for a maximum of 30 minutes if you got him to sleep before putting him down, to being ok going in awake and sleeping up to four hours at a time with his sleepyhead (the European name for the same product).  It's worth every penny for me!! I read a review that said it's expensive for what it is but a bargain for what it does - I completely agree.
