safe for blankets?!?

Question

When did you start letting your little one sleep with a blanket?? My husband wants to put one in my daughter's crib and I'm still so nervous!

She is 11.5mos old...she has used a sleep sack since about 3 mos old...she started walking at 10 mos.

Im sure she would be fine but I'm nervous, plus she sucks on her sack and pulls it up to her face when she's trying to fall asleep so I Know it's her comfort, I don't know.if it's time or how to transition...HELP!

Since day one she was swaddled with an extra blanket,  then we moved to a sleepsack with a thin blanket, now she has her big blanket that she drags everywhere 😩

We got a big kid sleep sack. Seems better with all the moving around and this way she can't wad it into a ball to stand on and try to do a header out of the crib.

We still don't use a blankie. No need for it. We did use a sleep sack for a while but now she stays warm enough
 Might start using one in the summer when the air is on(that's when I started the sleep sac) but for now she stays cozy enough with her jammies

My daughter has had her own blanket since she was 4 or 5 months. I just tucked it into the sides of her crib. She currently has 3 blankets in her bed. She sleeps like a wild animal so they end up under her or at the other end of her bed lol. I think your little one will do fine.

Ah! I am nervous as well. I almost put a little lovie in my babies crib last night but felt like I'd be up all night checking!

My daughter has slept with a blanket for mths now. She has been walking since 8.5mths old so she can get up and get her blanket off her etc.... Sleep sacks never worked for us. She hates not being able to move around and hates her feet covered.

I started giving it to her at nap time so I could keep an eye on her. She loves her blankie.

My daughter has been sleeping with blankets for a while now. The problem is keeping her in it she always kicks it off. At this point they move around so much I don't think you have anything to worry about momma!
