✨ My Brest Friend or Boppy? ✨

I don't have a baby yet but I enjoy planning for the future. Sometimes I go back to edit my registry to add or remove something. I've been thinking over my BF pillow choices. 😆

I own a Boppy and I want a My Brest Friend (MBF)! 😁 What are your thoughts on one, the other, or both? I added the MBF on my future registry a while. This is my thought..the Boppy has many uses. It's good for breast feeding and a good tummy time pillow. The MBF is good for breast feeding. So, I think it'd still be okay to have both since there are multiple uses for them. What do you all think? I'm "cheap" so I like to find good items for low prices. The MBF is surprisingly cheap so I like that! I'm short and my torso fits the Boppy perfectly so I'm not worried about that. I even tried it with my 16.5 lbs cat just to see. He stayed in place and didn't roll anywhere or anything. He was just relaxing. 🐱💤😂 I'm guessing the MBF would be fine too. Do you think it's worth it to have both? I think if I had to pay full price for both (or have anyone else do it), then I would think that might be a waste ($60 for BF pillows 😐😳). Forunately, the MBF I want is only $32.98 and I only paid $4 for my Boppy (orig. $29.84). It would be like I or a gift giver simply paying for 1 pillow instead of $60 for two.

If I were to ever have twins, I would definitely buy the twin version of the MBF no matter what. 😂 But that's not what this is about! 👶🏽👶🏼

Personally I didn't like either one, I used a standard pillow instead but I am not breastfeeding either.

I personally bought an ergo breastfeeding pillow + a boppy. I like the ergo one better. Fits more comfortably. A little more expensive but I love it. Can't wait to use it

I have both and I find the boppy pillow so much more awkward to use for breast feeding. I mainly use it to prop my baby up while relaxing and for tummy time. When I have used it to feed I find she just slips between me and the pillow and because it doesn't secure around your back I find I have to constantly hold the boppy close to me while she's on it or reposition. The breast friend I love, it stays secure with the strap, never have to reposition it and my daughter just falls asleep after wards on it. I've even used it as almost a platter for her and I'll carry her on it afterwards to put her in her bassinet. I would recommend the breast friend if you're only wanting one. I've tried regular pillows and could never get them to be in a comfy position where I wasn't hunched over completely.

I have twins so when breastfeeding both of my girls I use the Breast friend and when only feeding one I use the boppy. I personally like the boppy better but obviously not for both of my girls lol

I hate the Brest friend pillow. It's so bulky and annoying. I guess I don't really understand the point of it? For me was just much easier and comfier to hold baby in my arms

I love the Brest friend!!!!!! I love that it has a strap, so I can walk around and do things one handed if needed. Sitting and breastfeeding all day gets tiring haha! I'll be using it again with my second. I love that it has a little bump that props their head up.

So I actually have BOTH.  Hahaha.  My friend gave me the boppy pillow (which I am use to using with my Godsons, niece and nephew when giving them a bottle, tummy time, or somewhere for them to rest really quick).  
 
My sister gave me her MBF pillow.  As it is more rigid and squared off, it isn't comfortable for babies to lay on afterwards.  It is also MUCH larger.  BUT, it buckles around your waist (keeping it in place), and it is flatter than the boppy making it slightly easier to breastfeed.  It is not AS thick as the boppy either (at least not when I compared them).  It has a larger surface so baby isn't half off of it in certain breastfeeding positions .
 
If I had to buy them myself... I probably would have only bought the boppy as that is what I am familiar with.

I have a boppy and I never use it. I honestly just use a regular pillow or a blanket. So imo neither are worth the money or necessary.

Can't speak for myself but my sister swears by the Brest Friend. She said all the others, the baby will gradually slip off so you're more and more hunched over. But who knows
