so confused! Help!

So this morning I woke up, my shorts were damp in the crotch area but my underwear was dry. I smelled the shorts (ewwww! I know) and I'm really bad at telling smells. I don't think it smells like urine, but at the same time I don't think it smells sweet. It's def more than just discharge and I would have that in my underwear. My bed doesn't have any staining like I peed my pants or anything...I have a dr appt tomorrow, and I'm 38 weeks. Anyone have any ideas?
