My mom keeps telling me to stop eating spicy peppers.. It will hurt the babies stomach when its born and the baby will cry non stop for the first month? Hmmm. I can't find anything on that online

This is solely an American thing. My husband is Haitian and women eat whatever they cook for their families, which usually contains lots of spices and peppers. Your baby eats what you eat and by the time they're born your breastmilk will continue to be an extension of what you eat, they'll be fine.

I don't believe that. When my stepmom was pregnant with my youngest sister she craved jalapeños. My sister came out just fine and didn't cry all the time. It's probably just an old wives tale.
