Best birth control??

Question

I'm 17, going away to college soon and my mom is talking about putting me on birth control. I've heard many stories about the different ones but I want one that's most effective, and won't make my period irregular.

The pill has been great for me, now there really isn't one "best" form of birth control but there are some that have a 1 or 2 percent higher effectiveness against pregnancy, although that's not a big difference. You just have to be good with taking it every day at the same time.

I'm on TriNessa and I REALLY like it! It supposedly works with your body's natural hormone fluctuations so it doesn't mess you up as much

The pill can throw it off at first but will regulate it pretty quick & make it lighter. A copper iud is non  hormonal but can cause PID
