My doctor is pushing for an HSG but I'm not doing it. We JUST started trying. I think sometimes they just want the insurance.

I had been having a lot of pelvic pain and had been unable to conceive.  It was uncomfortable,  but the radiologist explained everything he was doing. It was a little bit uncomfortable for a day or so after. He didn't see any abnormalities.  I conceived before my next period.

I had one after my ectopic and it's just like bad cramps a lil uncomfortable

Not fun, and just showed that everything is fine. Without other symptoms (other than not getting pregnant), I don't know why you would do it…

I saw a specialist who wanted to do it,  but I opted for less invasive testing first (with a different Dr.)
I found out HSG is a painful procedure that usually shows no defects.

I was scheduled to have one the same day as my lap but they cancelled the hsg when I got there as I hadn't been trying for long enough. It had been 6 months since my miscarriage.

Yes and it's good to know what's going on but I'll be honest it's not fun 😁
