So we recently moved and haven't been to the doctor yet. Yesterday I got my bfp so we tried to make an appointment with a doctor since, hey you kinda need one. The receptionist told us that we first need a welcome visit, which I understand, but also said that I don't need a baby appointment for 6-8 weeks. I'm completely fine with that and knew that was coming but I don't understand why they don't want to do a blood test to make sure I'm pregnant and/or to see how far along I am. Do you think we misunderstood them and they'll do it at the welcome visit?
