Donating plasma

Hey all, recently I donated blood and the process was not nearly as scary as I thought and I got over my fear of it real fast. Anyways, I'm a college student and I started looking up that you can donate plasma at specific places and that you recover really fast cause technically they're not taking blood away from you. Anyone have any advice for when I donate plasma for the first time? Any warnings or what I should know beforehand so I don't freak out?
