maca???

Question

Anyone use Maca vitamins before? If so how do you take it? Do you take it after ovulation too? Is it safe after ovulation? Did you stop once you got your BFP? Thanks!!!

Maca gave me horrible headaches. I was taking it at the direction of my RE. I recently started myo-inositol instead for egg health and blood sugar regulation, and I had a very strong ovulation with only 3 weeks of taking it. We've been through 8 miscarriages with no known cause, though it's possible that my thyroid levels are too high, so I'm on synthroid as well. I really like the myo-inositol - maybe it's in my head but I feel like my sugar cravings have dropped a ton, and that strong ovulation was very exciting! My RE said it's a great supplement that can't hurt and might help, and I don't get the horrible "maca headache" that some of us get.
