Microwave!!???😡😡😡

Okay so a couple of hours ago I was making dinner and my aunt was making some food in the microwave for my cousin's and out of no where she told me to move and I'm sitting there like what why I'm trying to make dinner. So she kept telling me to move because of the microwave. She said that it's harmful to your baby. I'm still like wtf??? What does the microwave have to deal with me being pregnant? She said it was because of the uv rays and what not. It really pissed me the hell off. I said I never heard of anything like that. If it was that harmful to my baby my obgyn would of said something about that. Like really come on as many times I have been around the microwave it never caused any problems.

I move as at away from the microwaves at work as I can, in general it's not great to be around them. It's a little insane for you to get so pissed off at someone just for showing concern for you and the well being of your child. Relax, you weren't being attacked.

I'm always cautious around the microwave. I've heard it was bad for the baby also. I try not to longer too much around it when it's on. She was just trying to be helpful.

As a general rule I avoid the microwave at all times - we don't even have one at home. Personal preference but I don't like the way food tastes microwaved. We do have one in my office and if I ever use it i try to stand away from it. Again personal preference. There are so many other more harmful thins in our everyday life I know me honing in on the micro is a bit redic but you gotta pick your battles I guess.

I have a crazy aunt like that. My grandma made baked potatoes in the microwave. My aunt not only insisted I LEAVE the room entirely, but I wasn't allowed to eat the baked potato......... I roll my eyes and think "ok crazypants" every time she opens her mouth. Meanwhile, her youngest child is in his mid 30's. Like, stahp!
