placenta previa birth story!

Has anyone been detected with placenta previa and been able to deliver vaginal? I'm currently 20 weeks and my gynecologist detected low lying placenta. I have been told I would have to give birth via c-section. However, she asked me to wait until week 32 scan to check if the placenta is still low. I'm really worried about the situation as this is my first time being pregnant. Hopefully, some of your stories might motivate me to not feel sad.
