private ultrasound?

Have any of you opted for a private ultrasound. I had a miscarriage with my last pregnancy. Went in around 10 weeks and heard heartbeat but didn't see the baby (they didn't do an ultrasound). I'm 12 weeks now. My last pregnancy was a missed MC so no warning sign that baby stopped having a heartbeat which is why I'm so anxious to make sure the baby is ok
I found a place that will do one privately
I feel like it will help my anxiety
But then I've read doing too many ultrasounds isn't safe
Curious what you ladies think!

I did at 9w,  since my symptoms seemed to disappear overnight.   It completely eased my mind.

To many ultrasound are fine it's not going to hurt baby why would the give high risk pregnancy more ultrasound if it was going to hurt the baby use !!! Last pregnancy I had like 8 ultrasound baby is fine and this pregnancy will be the same with many ultrasound because I'm high risk

I think probably the stress would do more harm that the ultrasound. If it gives you peace of mind, go for it. ❤

When I was pregnant with my daughter, we had five ultrasounds with the doctor because I'd had many miscarriages before we had her, and we opted for a private ultrasound at 15.5 weeks to find out the sex. This time I'll have two ultrasounds by the doctor and we're going again to find out the sex early.

My husband also got my a handheld Doppler (WombMusic) to help my stress. I used it frequently until I could feel her move consistently. Doctors caution against them because it can sometimes be difficult to find the heartbeat which can cause the Mom to freak out, but for me it helped. Do what you think is best. ❤❤❤

With my last pregnancy I had a private ultrasound done almost weekly until I felt her moving.  For this pregnancy I've had one done every week since six weeks.

There is no proof that ultrasounds aren't safe. Ask any ultrasound tech who has ever been pregnant lol. But honestly ultrasound is just sound. Your baby is being exposed to nothing different than it is exposed to in everyday life

I had one at 7+4 since we don't get one till 12 weeks in the UK and I had been really unwell. Felt so much better after seeing everything was ok. I've not heard anything about multiple ultrasounds being unsafe.
