I'm so confused?!

OK so.... so on the 31st of December I had a very spotty day were only lasted for about 6 hours and one away then I have had absolutely zero egg white cervical mucus all month long and I'm supposed to start my period in 4 days but I have like the slightest spotting today now my husband and I have had sex about 15 times this month and all during my fertile window but I still didn't have any egg white cervical mucus so I'm a little confused might this be implantation or is it just another weird short short short period ??? .I'm not cramping at all just pink blood in clear mucous and then not even enough to drip on a pad... I also wanted to know is it normal for you not to have any egg white cervical mucus or did I not ovulate??
