I had an HSG test and some blood work done last week, and my gyno told me that my x-rays were fine and he saw no abnormalities. However, my blood work showed that my hormones were out of whack and diagnosed me with PCOS. He prescribed me with 3 months supply of Metformin and wants to start a procedure where they induce my ovulation since I can't ovulate naturally. The procedure is $300+. What has been your experience with using Metformin and trying to conceive? I've read up on the medicine and read a lot about how women and gotten pregnant just from using it. I don't want to pay a lot of money (for the procedure) for something that comes naturally to others.
