I don't think so. I think it's dumb to erase all trace of that person and pretend it never happened. It did happen. It was a part of your life, maybe even a huge part of your life for a period of time and your social media is all about sharing YOUR life. Why delete it?

If you are in a new relationship, why keep reminders of the EX around? Move on. Post new pics of your new SO and make happy memories with him.

I think it depends on the situation..... my ex before my now husband ... I deleted everything I could because we ended terribly and I wanted nothing to do with him or remembering our time together.... my long term bf before that, we have pics still on Facebook (granted it's been 8 years since we've broken up) we aren't tagged in them, they are just in albums I have. We are still friendly so I don't see any harm in them being there. My husband doesn't mind.... he has a few pics from way before me win exes and I don't mind either.

For me it depends. If it's really bothering him and your actually serious not just been dating a week then I would. I would do anything for my man if he asked nicely because he's my forever. I will say depending on the picture I would save it to my computer with my other photos of everything and let him know. If it's a kissy photo then that bitch is deleted for good lol

I voted no, because I think it actually depends. My ex's pictures are still on my Facebook,  but we were married. We had a child together.  And I don't hate him or resent him.  He's a big part of my past. My husband has a few pictures of him and his ex on his facebook; I don't care.
