ready?!

33 weeks and I'm not ready or have any urge to "nest"/organize/pack a bag....do anything. Anyone else or just me? With my first I was ready 4 months before he came! I feel guilty this time because I'm just like meh about getting ready. I just want to relax before he comes.

I'm 33 weeks also and I have not had any urge to nest like at all! I'm barely keeping my house clean

It's my first and I have ZERO urge. We had to relocate so the baby could be born in a specific hospital 10 hours from home. I forced myself to pack and his nursery still isn't 100% done.

No interest. Haven't ever had the urge with my other three so I'm not expecting one either. I get the nesting urge after baby is born and you have to sit around to heal.. 🙄

I'm 33 weeks and I have baby closet / armoire filled with clothes up to 3-6 months... bassinet and crib are put together. I have a diaper bag.. but not packed for hospital yet. A box of newborn diapers ..but I broke my ankle a month ago and I can't walk so I feel like I need to get more together but can't yet.  This is our 3rd and I am more relaxed than the other 2 and know we are ready.  I think it's just natural as it gets closer to feel the anxiety.

Ftm  32 weeks. Nooooope!! I cook, get the laundry done, the dishes done, and manage to get the living room vacuumed once a week and that's it. No baseboard scrubbing, painting, dusting, or toilet cleaning get for me. The nursery/room all my clothes and books are in is closed off to keep the cats from sleeping in the bassinet or crib and it has all the baby stuff in it even though most of the things in there will be spread around the house after Garak is born. We have such a small house and there is just no way baby gets a room devoted to only him plus my husband is due to get transferred to a new base in a few months so no point in decorating!

FTM and since the prospective that baby might come early, I am nesting and preparing like crazy. Going to pack his hospital bag, and wash all the things he will need right away. Can't be too prepared!

I have this nesting urge for some weeks now but everyone (especially my husband and my mother) tells me it is too early.. So I'm just doing a little thing at a time (today we put up a lamp). My maternity leave starts in a week and then I will start painting and stuff. Will probably be done after 2 days 😂 But as everything gets more and more exhausting, that is probably not a bad thing.

But everybody is different. So if you don't have the urge yet, it's fine, why should that be a bad thing?
