Alright so I'm 17 and a senior in high school and there's this guy I have liked for over a year. He's really quiet and he doesn't have any friends that are girls, and so I don't think he knows how to talk to them, even just as friends. When I have talked to him (we're not THAT good of friends) he seems fairly interested, but I still don't know. I have tried to get over him so many times because I'm ready to just move on rather than constantly wondering and feeling bad. So I texted him, and he responded, and almost immediately afterwards I told him that I like him, but he didn't text back. Some of my friend's think he's not sure how to respond/save my feelings. Others think that there is a possibility that he's contemplating whether he wants to date me or not. It's been 3 hours since I told him. What do you think?
