sudden sharp pains

I'm having sudden sharp pains. The first time it happened was about 2 weeks ago, in my lower back. It was a very intense pain, it hurt to move. It went away overnight. About a week later, I got the same thing in my left hip, and it too went away overnight. I'm now having a similar pain in my right shoulder/upper back. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? I know you can't diagnose and I need to see a doctor, but I'm wondering if anyone else dealt with a similar situation and what it ended up being. Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction. Thanks.
