Before people get too weirded out they are NOT trying to create some hybrid creature that is half human half pig. The only part that contains any human DNA are the organs - the "pig" part is just basically a body to grow the organs.

You know, why are people always asking about things they don't even know about? Like look it up, form an opinion, then ask. Not trying to complain but I'm just saying.
Anyways my thoughts are that it's kind of cool what they're doing. If they advance with it more maybe in a few decades or more people won't have to rely on organ donors. Some people may feel like it's immoral but they are trying to grow an organ inside the animal without killing it. It'd simply be a host and they'd remove it. (At least that's what the articles make it sounds like.) Honestly a good chunk of it is a little confusing but the idea is interesting. Not sure if I'm for or against it yet but like I said, it's a cool idea.
