Hair dye

I am a brunette and I was thinking about dying my hair strawberry blonde. But since I am TTC, I was wondering if I should wait until after my upcoming pregnancy? When I was pregnant with my 5 year old the doctor said to avoid hair dye during pregnancy but a relative that is pregnant died her hair recently. I don't want to dye my hair and them have toet it fade out and not be able to keep it up during pregnancy. Any advice?
