IUD problems help

I had an IUD in for 2 1/2 years and had it removed on Jan 7th becuase I heard some women have trouble conceiving up to a year after getting it removed. but now I have been bleeding ever since. its been a month next week. I switched to the tri-nessa and that's what I'm on now. I know bleeding is normal.....but a month really. our sex life is seriously hurting from this. anyone have an IUD with similar situations?
