How long did it take your baby to return to birthweight?

I'm currently 5 days PP, my milk came in day 3. She weighed 8lbs 6oz at birth, dropped to 7lbs 14oz on day 2, then jumped back up to 8lbs 1oz on day 4. For some reason I thought it would take a lot longer for us to get there. We're not at birthweight yet but we're getting there a lot quicker than I thought!
How long did it take for your LO to return to their birth weight? Breastfeeding or formula?

My son was born 8lbs 11oz and when we got discharged he was 8lbs 5oz. his first doc appointment 3 days later he was up to 9lbs and then a week later 9lbs 10oz. He's 3 months and is now 16lbs. Completely breastfed. He's a big chunk.

My baby was born weighing 7.05, the day i left the hospital which was 2 days later he dropped a few oz. Then for his 1 wk check-up he weighed 7.15.. he's now 15 days old and weighs a little over 8 lbs.

My baby was born at 7 lbs, 12 oz. When we left the hospital, he was 7 lbs. At his first week appointment, he was 7 lbs, 10 oz. And at his 2 week appointment, he was 8 lbs, 6 oz. He's almost 7 weeks now and I think he's about 11 lbs, but that's probably not too accurate because I weighed on a home scale and then weighed with him and subtracted the  difference.

My daughter was born with low weight at 37+1 4lbs 9oz at 2 days old she was 4lbs 7oz at her 6 day check up she was 4lbs 5.5oz then at  4 weeks she was 6lbs 5oz so in 2 weeks i got her to gain 2 lbs we were on a every 3 hour feeding schedule per hospital orders and the dr said to continue and at this last weight check he said we could stop and just let her wake on her own she still wakes herself every 2-3 hours which im ok with now that i dont have to keep a strict schedule going

I had twins. Twin A was 6lb 2oz dropped to 5lb 9oz over the next two days. She was 5lb 12oz leaving the hospital day four. At 8 days she was still 5lb 13oz. At 11 days she was 5lbs 13.8oz. At 15 days she had jumped to 6lb 1oz and then she was 6lb 7oz at 18 days. She took longer to gain weight than her little sister.  Twin B was 6lb 3oz dropped to 5lb 7oz over the first two days was 5lb 11.8oz leaving the hospital day four. At 8 days she was 5lbs 12oz. At day 11 she was 5lbs 15oz. At 18 days she was 6lb 7oz. Now at 6 weeks she's a total chunker at 9lbs 1oz.  Took them a while, but they lost a ton at the hospital, they were late preterm babies, and I'm sure the twin factor (and trying to breastfeed twins in the early days all played a role). I exclusively breastfeed.

My son was an ounce away from his birth weight at his appointment two days after we got out of the hospital. He was 4 days old and we got released when he was 2 days. We formula feed!
