Cervical position in early pregnancy?

I'm 10 days late and I'm just wondering what the position usually is in early pregnancy?? Also how to tell if cervix is opened or close?? I can tell if it's high or low, just can't tell if it's opened or closed. Also negative tests as well. 😠

I am 6 days until AF. My cervix is high up almost can't reach it and very soft and closed. Don't know yet if pregnant or not.

If you haven't had any children, when it's closed it will just feel like a dimple and if it's open it will feel almost as if you could get a finger tip into it. If You have had children it's a more elongated/slit like opening and it may just feel deeper when it's open. I never checked my cervix before my first baby so my only experience checking is a post baby cervix and it does feel like a slit in my cervix and I can tell when it widens a bit near ovulation . Hope that helps
