Picking up our convo here :)
So yeah you're right Kristi it *is* good news that I know more now about what's been going on and yes MTHFR is very very common with around 40% of the population having some variant. I've inherited it from both parents so I have the double strand which is surprising to me because I am virtually symtomless! I'm in optimal health and have been almost all my life so I was actually shocked by the discovery. The thing that's a bit daunting now is the brigade of different approaches I see online towards working with this while ttc. First step for me is taking the right kind of B vitamins that can be absorbed by ppl worth MTHFR and the daily baby aspirin. For good measure I also had my gp refer me to a gynecologist who specializes in fertility to get another opinion about how to approach this. Will hopefully see her in a week or two! Once again, naturopath has advised me to wait until my new supplement plan is in gear to ttc again but I just can't! We didn't get pregnant the first time I o'd after mc on December 26th so I've had my one full cycle since and will be giving it a valiant effort next week. Currently I'm on cd8. Enough about me! Is your hcg down to 0 now??
