what do Australian pregnant women do for constipation?

Hey ladies,
I'm just wondering what you take for constipation? I'm someone who suffers constipation anyway but I think the elevit I take makes it 10x worse. My doctor recommended that I take Metamucil... which hasn't done anything. I'm craving fruit so I'm eating lots of fruit anyway, I drink about 2-2.5 litres water a day and I still haven't had a bowel movement in three days.... it's becoming painful.

I'm not Australian but I took stool softeners and miralax which helped...

Not in Australia either, but my OB recommend Senokot and it's amaaaaZing

No in Australia but On my safety I have metamucil, milk of magnesia, surfak/ducosate, and miralax. Also I don't know if it's a product sold where you are but I started eating 1 Activia yogurt a day to help regulate me. It's a yogurt with probiotics in it.
