Do you think gender equality is achievable?

I'm sorry but I don't want too be equal to a man!!! Lol! I'm good with being a woman! Not trying too offend anyone though!

I don't think so because wether we like it or not, men and women just aren't the same and never will be.

Instead of being the same, we should look to embracing our differences.

Yes, we are already equal (at least in 1st world countries).  Yes there are still sexist people out there, but there's nothing that women can't do anymore.

Men and women are different biologically . Not that one is better than the other, it's just the way it is . Legally, we pretty much are equal though ... At least in America

Depends on the country, maybe but not anytime soon, because women approach the workplace differently we wait for a raise, we rarely ask for it even if we deserve it and we tend to undervalue our time.  What pisses me off is when your employer tells you on the first day not to discuss your wage with other employees. .. only for you to find out after a raise or two that the new guy started at a higher rate than you, even though you know you're the better employee. .. rant over

Gender equality is achievable and very important, however it's not about our 'biological' difference it's a social movement that seeks to promote gender equality so that women have the same rights and opportunities as men society. For those who think we live in a gender equal society I urge you to think about it harder, think about gender crimes and public reaction, think about how the media stigmatises victims of sexual abuse by asking what they were wearing - if we lived in a gender equal society that question would never be entertained.
