throat pain level 10/10

I'm really not a wimp & have a high pain tolerance. This throat pain is a 10/10 & I want to claw my eyes out when I have to swallow. It came on on Thursday early evening (it's now Sunday at almost 4am). I went to urgent care Fri morning & throat swab for strep A was negative. I have since learned that my Thurs morning vaginal/rectal swab for Group B Strep was positive. Is there any possible connection? I'm trying to make it through the night & get in touch with an OB on-call in the morning.... not sure if I can stand the pain that long though. I'm 35+4.
