When I was like 8 or 9 I had surgery to repair an umbilical hernia in which the doctor went through my belly button instead of making an incision elsewhere. Less scarring I'm assuming (it's been so long). Before the surgery I was an outtie and now I am an innie. My doctor informed me that my belly button shouldn't protrude because of this. As my belly has grown I've noticed a slight pain/tugging feeling around my belly button. It never eases or goes away unless I put slight pressure on it. Has anyone else felt this kind of pain? Or has anyone else gotten pregnant post hernia repair? I'm not even sure if there's a correlation or not lol but I'm a first time mommy so every little tinge makes me think the worst. 😩 I plan on asking my doctor at the next visit but figured until then I'd see what you all might think.
