Ok...anyone ever delt with bed bugs before??

Question

I'm on almost month 3 with bed bugs. My landlord moved me and my family into a newly remodeled unit that has bed bugs. I don't know how it had bed bugs before, but they even checked my old place and I didn't have them. 
Now I'm slowly going into month three with this. I just found two more in my couch. The exterminator has no idea what to do because he has done literally everything legally he can do. He said my couch should be glowing by now. Well, after finding two more in my couch, twice a week sprayings, dried my clothes so many times that most are now fried beyond recognition, AND 4 heat treatments, I still have them...
I'm very OCD too so it's not because of filth. In fact, that's why I keep finding them is because of my OCD. The bed bugs are even avoiding all the traps the exterminator has left behind!!! 
I think these things are indestructible. Seriously. Scientists need to study these bugs. 
Anyone else go through this? And what worked for you??
And yes, now they are throwing away my couch tomorrow and switching me to a new unit.

I've seen on this show called "infested" and this 1 family had just moved into their new home and all of a sudden they got bed bugs. They tried everything, the only think that helped was really hot steam. BB doesn't like heat so the exterminator used steam as his last option and it worked. I guess the family had a really old couch filled with BB and it spreading throughout the house. So I would suggest finding the source of infestation and then have the exterminator use steam! GO girl that sux bad.

When I lived in Chicago, I lived in an apartment building that had bed bug problems. Once the lease was up, moved to a different place and unfortunately got rid of any furniture that had bed bugs. I also washed everything. It was pricey to buy new furniture but I did not want to risk taking it with me and keep getting bit.

You might want to have them check your neighbors apartments. Either side, upstairs and downstairs. My old apartment building had an infestation and they were coming through the walls from my neighbors apartment and until their place was treated it wouldn't stop. It was seriously the worst experience of my life. I had to have all my stuff boxed up for 6 weeks, my bed taken apartment so they could regularly come check for them & had to sleep on the floor. Then they made ME pay for the treatments. 🙄🙄

Oh for sure!!! I have my box spring and mattresses completely covered in bed bug protection thing, and I'm going to throw out what I can't put in a dryer. It's been horrible so far!! I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy!

Id check with another exterminator that specializes in bed bugs.  I had them once and they brought a dog in to sniff the rooms they were in and they were only in my room so we blocked it off and they fumigated it and the bed bugs were gone. It was an exterminator that worked esp in eliminating those type of bugs though not a regular one
