Monthly motorcycle insurance cost?

My husband and I pay $233 a month for his full coverage motorcycle insurance!!! Which seems like a lot but Harley's aren't cheap and he's in his 20s so... still I'm curious what others pay. In the US. :)

When i was 19, i paid about $100 for the whole year!! My dad only paid $60. That was in mid 2000's.

My husband has a Harley too and he's 28 but he pays about 250 a year! His is super cheap! His bike is a little older 2003 I think but either way he's a young guy with a motorcycle...I'm sure it also depends on where you live and your driving record

That seems high, but it depends on his driving record and the coverages you have. Not just comprehensive and collision, but the laibility limits etc. I'd review your policy with your agent and see if there is anyway to cut costs and make sure he is getting his discounts. Also, the number of cc's and the value of the motorcycle impacts the cost.

A month? That sounds closer to a yearly price for a motorcycle. Does he have a bad driving record or DUI/DWI?

I'd start looking around for a different insurance. That's pretty high. However, if he has had any accidents/traffic violations those make insurance go up significantly. Depending on his age, his insurance dings may not be expunged yet and he's paying for previous incidents. I can't imagine paying that amount, we don't even pay that for full coverage on 2 newer trucks lol.

My SO used to pay about $100 a month for full coverage on his insurance on his motorcycle when he had it. He looked around at different insurances before choosing so he got the best deal. He also had a dui on his record from when he was 18 otherwise it would have been less.
