bfp after clomid?

Question

I'm out this cycle after getting a call that I haven't even ovulated. So I have to see my dr once af starts and I'm pretty positive he's going to tell me the next step is clomid after several failed femara cycles. 
This is so hard, and I'm in need of some hope. 
How good is clomid?
Any of you had success with it? 
Any of your advice and experiences with this would be very appreciated..

I was on Clomid for six months when we were ttc my 2nd child, it was torture, I was having mood swings all the time, but my so understood, after six months with clomid and still no pregnancy we decided to take a break from ttc, 3 weeks after my first cycle without clomid I felt a little strange and done a pregnancy test and it was positive! I think the clomid kicked my cycle into gear and now we have our wonderful 6 year old! 😊 good luck for the future and I hope you get your BFP very soon! 🤞

Just got our BFP on the 3rd round of clomid. My doctor prescribed clomid, estrogen, and progesterone to be taken on certain cycle days. I was started at 50 mg of clomid for the 1st 2 cycles and nothing. My doctor increased to 100 mg and sure enough I am 6W3D pregnant with our 2nd child (& our rainbow baby!) Stay on top of taking the medication. I did better if I took the clomid at lunch time instead of night time because I experienced insomnia the 1st couple nights. This last cycle I did not listen to my doctor as far as no sex from CD 10 til you get positive ovulation test, we had sex when we wanted to 😁 just remember to take it easy and not give up!
