What are the dangers of not telling your doctor that you're having sex?

I go to the doctor today and me and my boyfriend have been having sex for quite some time now. I'm only 15 and my mom doesn't know (but I think she's starting to sense that we are). I'm afraid my doctor will say something to my mom without knowing she doesn't know. Is there any dangers to not letting your doctor know?

Yes, if something is wrong with you the fact that you're sexually active can play a major part in determining what it is. 
Go in the room alone with your doctor and tell him/her you're sexually active. They are not allowed to tell your parents or anyone else for that matter. If you want to be extra sure she won't find out, tell him that your parents do not know.

Never ever lie to your doctor it can narrow down results if something is wrong with you and if you say your not active theres things they may not check... legally they cant tell your parents anything -only when they think your a danger to yourself or others but sex doesnt fit in there lol- to be extra safe you could mention you would rather her not know about that as a little backup but they wont tell

Tell your doctor in private and tell her your mom doesn't know. Doctors are used to that. My doctor helped me so much even finding ways to get on birth control without upsetting my mom.
