Birth Control with anxiety medicines?

I have struggled with anxiety for a while and my body is definitely sensitive to different medicines. Years ago I tried a bc and it made me feel terrible. It was supposed to minimally hormonal. Additionally, PMS makes my anxiety three times as bad as it normally is.
I was wondering is anyone here has experience with this kind of situation, or advice for what kind of birth control would be best?
I've heard of a non-hormonal IUD, would that help with PMS at all or would I just be avoiding the hormonal side effects? I've also heard of nuva ring and the implant in your arm being good with anxiety.

I'm not on any anxiety meds, so this might not be super helpful, but talk to your doctor and be completely open with every kind of medicine you're taking. Given that you don't want it to be messing with your anxiety too much, I would say a non-hormonal IUD might be the way to go, but your doctor and your gyno might be able to find or suggest something that will work best for you. It might take a few tries, so don't get discouraged if whatever they put you on doesn't work right away. These things take time to get right, but it's worth it to make sure. Best of luck!
