I'm taking my NCLEX tomorrow and would like any words of advice, encouragement, or last minute important helpful hints.

I've been an RN for just about a year now! I'm currently getting my masters to be an NP!

I'm not sure how much this will help the day before, but know your medication endings and normal lab values for sure! I kind of blacked out when I was taking it so I don't remember much. You can hide the number of questions you're on, so definitely do that because I was watching it and once it didn't shut off at 75, I lost my shit and freaked out. I ended up having all 265, so be in the mind set that you're going to be there the whole 4 hours and have all of the questions. Take breaks and step out of the room when you feel yourself getting stuck in a rut and keep getting easy questions, because that means you're getting them wrong. Regardless when it shuts off, you're going to feel like you failed but hang in there. I cried and didn't eat the whole 48 hours after because I thought I failed. Don't do that haha. Get out, hand out with friends! Keep busy! And if you do fail, it's not the end of the world. I had a lot of friends who failed but passed the second time. Nothing prepares you for that exam, as much as your school prepares you, it's not enough. It's a mind game, and it doesn't matter how much you know, it's how you know how to take the test. So if you fail, it's not because you don't know the material, it's because the test is a mind game and you just need more practice learning how it works.
