ovulation and testing

Took OPKs last week - were + for 3 days in a row (Monday-Wednesday) supposed to start my period tomorrow- not sure how my ovulation days were so close to my period date. Is that normal? Says I need to test in 9 days but my period is due tomorrow. Help!
