A couple weeks ago my boyfriend and I broke up. I was completely and absolutely devastated, he meant a lot to me and I couldn't let him go so easily. But today he messaged me and I finally had closure and we're now friends. We don't plan on pursuing a romantic relationship but if it were to happen then it would be totally fine. We just didn't want to lose each other just because we couldn't be together in a romantic way. I feel a lot happier knowing that I didn't lose a friend. And I just wanted to let y'all know this.
