HELP, when do you think active labor will start?

Question

Due date is feb 19, 2017. I'm 37 weeks and 2 days. I was 80% effaced and 3cm dilated when I went to my last appointment on Thursday. I lost my mucus plug about an hour ago. I'm a first time mom and just wanted to hear opinions.

I was due Valentine's Day, and my girl came yesterday at 37+5! Midwife said my due date might have been off, but I was having contractions at 4-5cm and 80% effaced. You could be close girl!! Good luck!

I saw my Dr today. I'm 37 weeks. He told me that 7 in 10 first time moms go past their due date.

I have him a dirty look after he said that😂. Needless to say I'm VERY uncomfortable !

I went into pre-term labor almost 4 weeks ago, we were able to stop it. I lost my plug 3 weeks ago and baby's still just cooking. This is also my 3rd and longest pregnancy so far. #1 was born at 38 weeks 1 day, #2 born at 36 weeks. Currently 38 weeks 4 days.

My sister had lost her plug and next day had her baby boy! I do believe once u lose the mucous plug u will be going Into labor!

I went into labour later that night when I lost y plug, go for a big walk, sit on a yoga ball, nipple stimulation, sex... try to get it going lol

We have the same due date and As of last Wednesday I am only 2cm and 30% effaced. This is my second baby and you're currently progressed further than me if that counts for anything 😊 I would say, a lot of the time (not always) once some women get to 4 cm things normally start moving along or at least hospitals typically admit you if you're a 4 and have some pattern to your contractions. But it's so different for every woman it's impossible to say for sure and it's speculation really because some women can be at 3 cm for weeks. (Not to be a buzzkill)

Most women I know personally go into labor with days of losing the plug, I wish you the best & keep us updated!!
