I went to my appointment with the nurse today. Right as we were finishing up she mentioned my genetics results had came in about 20 minutes before. She mentioned that there are no signs of downsyndrom and then asked if I wanted to know the gender.. Well of course I do!! I'm very impatient.. So she then proceeds to tell me they detected a y chromosome!!! Yay!!! Now I have the best of both worlds!! First a daughter and now little boy!! My daughter is excited a tad disappointed (she wanted a sister) but mostly excited that she is a big sister and as long as he's healthy. :) 13+1
