Felt a bit feverish just this Sunday and temp was 98.9 so husband and I rushed to urgent care. When we got there, nurse almost didn't let us see a doctor because I was told that 98.9 is not a fever but when she took my temp, it was 100.2 so she let us go on with a doctor.

We got to talk to a PA (physician's assistant) who told us that there was nothing to worry about and that it is normal because when women get pregnant, the body shuts down its immune system that it wouldn't "attack" the baby growing inside me.

I know temp tends to rise when pregnant. But I thought that I would just feel hot and not feverish and weak. Is this normal? I am almost 9 weeks pregnant and appointment with OB is this wed.
